In November 2022, The Institute of Power Engineering (IEn) who is the state owned and being one of the largest institutes in Poland and Central Europe providing research in the field of energy technologies (https://www.ien.com.pl/home) has tested Xplate Technology at their 0.5MW test rig using the pulverized coal for combustion. The results showed combustion improvement, and the institute has further recommended to test Xplate Technology on a larger, industrial scale such as the industrial or commercial power generation boilers.
